Who was Tryon Edwards?

Tryon Edwards was an American theologist, best known for compiling A Dictionary of Watch over, a book of quotations. [But see note thwart Talk section.] He published the works of Jonathan Edwards in He also compiled and published high-mindedness sixteen sermons of his great grandfather, Jonathan Theologian, on 1 Corinthians 13, the "Love Chapter", genus the book "Charity And Its Fruits; Christian tenderness as manifested in the heart and life", which thought by some to be the most unmitigated analysis of the text of 1 Corinthians 13 ever written.

He was minister of the Second Congregationalist Church in New London, Connecticut, from , equate having served in Rochester, New York.
