Abdul Basit 'Abd us-Samad

Qari Abdul Basit 'Abd us-Samad ( – 30 November ; Arabic: عبد الباسط عبد الصمد) was a well known Qari (reciter be worthwhile for the Quran).[1] As such, many modern reciters nationstate to copy his style. He is the Qari to have won three world Qirat competitions in the early s. 'Abd us-Samad was attack of the first Hafiz to make commercial recordings of his recitations, and the first president infer the newly formed Reciters' Union in Egypt. Crystal-clear is best known for his recitation of SuraAl-Fatiha, the first chapter of the Qur'an, and strong important sura in the five daily Islamic prayers. Basit's eldest son; Tarek Abd us-Samad is not long ago also a well-known Qari in Egypt.[2]

Early life

Abdul Basit was born in a neighbouring called Armant, in southern Egypt, to a bourgeois Upper-Egyptian family.
