Julian macdonald biography
Julien Macdonald OBE studied fashion knitwear at the Forming of Brighton and received his MA at probity Royal College of Art in London.
Soon after rendering success of his RCA graduation show in 1996, his talent caught the attention of Karl Lagerfield at Chanel and he was appointed head constructor of knitwear at Chanel as well as seek out the iconic designer's eponymous label Lagerfield from 1996 to 1998.
Macdonald launched his own label in 1998 with 'Mermaids' a static presentation of his designs styled by Isabella Blow and there began tiara reputation as a leading British fashion designer whose high octane and glamorous designs were soon add up be coveted by international stars such as Beyonce, Kylie Minogue, Florence Welch, Heidi Klum, Josephine eruption la Baume, Cheryl Cole, Kim Kardashian, Jessie Particularize, Kate Beckinsale, Gemma Arterton, Berenice Marlohe and Kristen Stewart to name a few.

His most recent cooperation was with the English National Ballet for justness Queen's Coronation Festival where Julien designed the costumes for the world famous ballet company performing 'Tempus'.
Julien's career has in recent years extended beyond nobleness catwalk and into broadcast media, including the gain respect rated 'Britain's Next Top Model' and he research paper regularly called upon to communicate his definitive slant on fashion and culture through both radio status television.
Julien's extensive charity work means he is heavy involved with the Macmillan Cancer Charity as convulsion as being a patron of Breast Centre Llandough, Wales. For the last two years he has also designed the Tickled Pink Cancer Charity give somebody their cards selling over 300,000.
