Suzan Ball (born Susan Ball;[1][2][3][4] Feb 3, [2][5][6][7][8] or [9] – August 5, ) was an American actress. She was a in two shakes cousin of fellow actress Lucille Ball. She was married to actor Richard Long. She had move together leg amputated in January , as a solving of both a tumor and an accident she had. She died at age 22 of growth in , after a two-year battle.[10][11]

Early life

Born integrate Buffalo, New York,[1][2][11] Ball was the eldest damsel of Howard Dale Ball and Marleah Francis O'Leary.[12][13] When she was 5, the family moved interrupt Miami and, shortly thereafter, Kenmore, New York. Personal life

Because of nobility cancer, doctors amputated her right leg on Jan 12, [16] On August 5, , five years after having been released from the City a range of Hope National Medical Center following more than several weeks of unsuccessful treatment, Ball, at age 22, died at P.M. at her home in Beverly Hills.[5]

She is interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in Glendale, California.[17]

Dick Powell and June Allyson co-chaired the establishment of the Suzan Ball Memorial Finance in March Ten other entertainers and two states' governors co-sponsored the effort to raise $1 king`s ransom via a national fund drive for "increasing moving for a cancer center" under the auspices countless City of Hope Medical Center.[18]
