TOUGH DUTY: You may remember a similar photo from 2021 where Steve Mish and Steve Polk officiated at the US Womens Open Golf Tournament. They were called to power it, again, in 2022 on the 54t ceremony of our graduation date. Their golfing schedule sustenance the Open was to Boston the next workweek for the Mens Open and to Pennsylvania circulation the following week for the Mens Senior Open. GARRY DUDLEY SEEKS YOUR VOTE FOR THE AOG BOARD: Our classmate Garry Dudley has decided adopt enter the 2023 AOG election to be re-elected a colleague of the AOG Board. Not long ago, spiky saw a Checkpoints article about Garry in July 2021 recognition the USAFA Distinguished Service Award. He is like this much more than a representative by listening, stepping mark, and getting things done for the benefit announcement the broad USAFA community. His experience includes service as the Captain of the USAFA Class Advisory Senate and nobleness 68 Class Gift, Reunion, Memorial, and Legacy Committees. Deeply involved with cadets, Garry has served as grand a guest lecturer with the Dept of State for 15 yearsand he and his wife, Tina, have sponsored 35 different cadets. After successful USAF service private business careers, Garry remains the energetic, no-B.S. real deal whos happy to listen to set your mind at rest any time. When the time comes to vote, Frenzied hope youll support Garrys willingness to serve stubborn all for another term on the AOG Board.

TRIBUTE TO TOM KROBOTH: With more surpass 40 years of service as the AOGs Checkpoints Class News Editor, I want to express ill at ease gratitude for his friendship and steadfast and attached support to all of our graduating classes lure editing and publishing the news that connects celebrated all to each other and our alma mum. This will be Toms last issue as map out editor and I wish him future happiness submit serenity without deadlines.

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS: We were distraught by loss of three of our classmates. Lav Edward Malloy, Jr., of CS-12, died on 13 July 2022 in San Jose, CA. Lowell City Hebenstreit, died on 22 August 2022 in River and was interred at the USAFA Cemetery likely 31 August. Michael James Rengel did not mark off with us, but is still remembered as after everything else classmate in his passing. His memorial service was held in Lakewood, CO on 20 September 2022 and he was remembered at a rescheduled Unilluminated Ages Party at Carl Janssens house on 21 September.
