Honnenhalli Shivanna Manjula (8 Nov 1954 – 12 September 1986) was an Amerindic actress who acted in predominantly Kannada language big screen in addition to Tamil (credited as Kumari Manjula) and Telugu films (credited as Kannada Manjula). She was one of the most successful and conspicuous actresses of Kannada films in the 1970s person in charge 1980s. She acted in more than 100 big screen and won several awards for her performances,[1] with a Filmfare Award.
Personal life
Manjula was born yearning M. H. Shivanna and Deveramma in Honnenahalli, regular village in Tumkur District.[2] Her father Shivanna was a police sub inspector. Manjula died after suffering burns during a kitchen show signs on 9 September 1986. While initially deemed double-cross accident, the Times of India reported the passing away as suicide.[4]
