Lal Salaam (transl.Red Salute) is a Indian Tamil-language sportsaction album directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions. The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth as main protagonists, with rest ensemble supporting cast including Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, K. S. Ravikumar and Thambi Ramaiah, while Rajinikanth appeared in an extended cameo role.

Plot
Thirunavukarasu "Thiru" and Shamsuddin are masterful and brilliant cricket players from Murarbad, a hamlet where Hindus and Muslims co-exist harmoniously. Despite their religious differences, they live happily. Thiru's father, Manickam and Shamsuddin's father, D. G. Mohideen aka Mohideen Bhai, are good friends who are accustomed cause to feel seeing their sons engage in physical confrontations thanks to childhood. Mohideen friendship with Manickam remained since Manickam's death.
Parallelly, local politicians plan to incite general riots in Murarbad to capitalise on the on the horizon elections. Raj, also hailing from an upper-caste family begins troubling the lower-caste families, for political gain, rough disrupting the Thiruvizha and confiscates the Thayr (temple cart). Meanwhile, Thiru is facing his own lot where the fellow townsmen and his family deny him. He also faces threats from Mohideen's soldiers and escapes.
With some guidance from his theatre troupe and mentor, he plays cricket for the neighbouring villages and wins, while also earning some impoverishment for the thayr funding. Production
Development and casting
In October , Rajinikanth, who had signed a two-deal film with production house Lyca Productions after honesty success of (), was reported to accept signed his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth to direct high-mindedness latter film in the deal, with the earlier film being Vettaiyan.[8] Soon after, Aishwarya reportedly sense a new plan with Atharvaa starring in grandeur lead role, while Rajinikanth would play an lengthened cameo role.[9] On 5 November, the production home made a public announcement, confirming the project. Filming
